Activity 3 (7, 8, 9, 0 keys)
Key the line that follows three times. Increase your speed as you repeat a line. Space once
after each number.

Key the next five lines; when finished, key them again. Try to key faster and remember to
read the numbers in groups.

Here are five drills that you can use to warm-up/reinforce number keyboarding skills. Do
each of them once.
For warm-up and locational reinforcement, key the numbers as follows:
11 22 33 44 55 66 77 88 99 00 111 222 333 444 555 666 777 888 999 000
Key the numbers from 1 to 99 as follows: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 etc.
Key the numbers from 5 to 100 by fives: 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 etc.
Key the numbers from 10 to 200 by tens: 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 etc.
To develop the ability to think and key, key the numbers backward from 100 by 3's: 100
97 94 91 88, etc.
